In 2007 Academic Year, Arakan Association (Singapore) awarded three Scholars from Yangon and Magwe Medical Universites. Eight Scholars were also awarded by Arakanese in Singapore. This programme was arranged by Arakan Education Foundation (World Wide) and Rakhaing Tha Ha Ya Association (Yangon). Each Scholar receives 200, 000 Kyats (S$ 240) for an academic year. For 2008 Academic Year, 51 Arakanese Students apply Youth Scholarship Programme. Please give your support to them. Your extra single cent can make a better life for her.
